The 02629 is a 9 dBi UHF high-gain heavy-duty mobile antenna designed for the 477 MHz UHF citizens radio band. Built with a 5 mm tapered 17-7PH stainless steel radiator and a reinforced matching section, it delivers superior mechanical strength and durability, making it ideal for on-road applications. Best suited for bull bar mounting, the 02629 can also be installed using a range of mounting accessories to meet varied requirements. Its phased three-stage radiator provides a narrow vertical beamwidth and higher gain compared to standard antennas, while the robust matching section ensures ground plane independence and long-term mechanical stability. The antenna is supplied with a terminated cable fitted with an SMA connector and an SO-239 socket base for convenient installation.

Although best suited to Bull Bar mounting, this antenna can also be used with a number of mounting accessories to cover the majority of mounting requirements. A heavy duty, high gain, phased three stage radiator, presents this antenna with a narrow vertical beamwidth and a gain higher than other antennas. A robust matching section ensures that this antenna offers ground plane independence as well as reliable mechanical stability. The antenna comes complete with a terminated cable fitted with an SMA connector and SO-239 socket type base.
