The Role

We are seeking a talented Production Manager to join our dynamic production team at Benelec on a permanent full-time basis. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for all matters relating to manufacturing and production, including providing leadership to and managing a small team of dedicated technicians, process workers, and apprentices. This role requires co-ordination of tasks related to managing Benelec’s engineering workshop, antenna assembly area and electropolish facility. This position will suit a hands-on, versatile, innovative person with a mechanical aptitude, initiative, good troubleshooter, and positive work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve manufacturing productivity and processes.
  • Strictly control the implementation of the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the production process, monitor, and report output.
  • Ensure all manufactured products leaving the factory conform strictly to the specified quality standards and meet the required specifications.
  • Monitor performance of the targets and address any issues with the Production staff and find out the reasons if any targets could not be achieved.
  • Lead, train and develop the production team, maintaining a positive and productive environment.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Co-ordinate with the Research and Development (R&D) and Sales team.
  • Strategic planning for current capability and future growth
  • Ensure full compliance with legislative, statutory and policy WHS requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid production management experience
  • Knowledge of laser cutting, CNC Machines and welding
  • Leadership, planning and management skills.
  • Hands on experience including use of power tools and soldering
  • Sound understanding of QA procedures, OHS Act, Environmental Management, and implementation.
  • IT Proficient
Work Type: Permanent full-time position (38 hrs/wk) Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:15pm) and on-call after hours. Location: 17 Byrnes Street, Botany, Sydney, NSW, Australia

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Marketing and Graphic Designer to join our innovative and driven team. As part of a collaborative environment, you’ll play a key role in shaping our brand communications, which are essential to our continued growth. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for creating and managing a variety of marketing materials, web designs, and digital content. You’ll need a solid foundation in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and MS Office, along with strong skills in typography, layout, and colour theory. Your ability to work efficiently within deadlines, adhere to brand guidelines, juggle multiple projects for various stakeholders, and maintain excellent attention to detail will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling designs for a wide range of digital and print materials, including brochures, product descriptions, social media content, web pages, flyers, infographics, presentations, posters, banners, and more.
  • Interpret and transform technical information and marketing documentation into visually engaging content.
  • Provide creative and technical support to team members as needed.
  • Manage photography requirements and maintain the company’s image stock library.
  • Utilise advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for design planning and execution of various graphic applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in graphic design and marketing roles.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with WordPress and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong design sensibilities, including typography, layout, and colour management.

About Us

Our core business operations include manufacturing, designing, importing, and distribution of wireless communication products and services to Public Safety Services, the Defence Forces, Local, State, and Federal government agencies as well as radio dealer networks.

The Role

We have a permanent full-time position in our Projects department for an experienced RF Network Engineer with a track record in setting-up, commissioning, monitoring and troubleshooting extensive analogue and digital  radio communication networks including Trunking, Multi-Cast and Simulcast. This position will suit a person who is hands-on, versatile, imaginative, perceptive, can comprehend and decipher radio communications and IT networks, has initiative, is a good trouble-shooter and has a positive work ethic.

Duties include:

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the functioning of wide area radio communication networks.
  • Running RF coverage simulations on TAP software package.
  • Assist in all matters relating to design and documentation of extensive radio networks.
  • Be involved in and contribute to research and development projects to the best of their ability.
  • Be involved in testing, processing, analysing results and preparing relevant reports.
  • Monitoring network performance and identifying faults, their cause and resolution.
  • Undertaking site surveys and field performance trials and producing the relevant reports.
  • Being on-call and responding to help-desk calls.

Critical Pre-requisites:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Fluent in English verbal and written communication
  • Must be a resident of Metropolitan Sydney, NSW
