Our core business operations include manufacturing, designing, importing, and distribution of wireless communication products and services to Public Safety Services, the Defence Forces, Local, State, and Federal government agencies as well as radio dealer networks.
The Role
We have a permanent full-time position in our Projects department for an experienced RF Network Engineer with a track record in setting-up, commissioning, monitoring and troubleshooting extensive analogue and digital  radio communication networks including Trunking, Multi-Cast and Simulcast.
This position will suit a person who is hands-on, versatile, imaginative, perceptive, can comprehend and decipher radio communications and IT networks, has initiative, is a good trouble-shooter and has a positive work ethic.
Duties include:
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the functioning of wide area radio communication networks.
- Running RF coverage simulations on TAP software package.
- Assist in all matters relating to design and documentation of extensive radio networks.
- Be involved in and contribute to research and development projects to the best of their ability.
- Be involved in testing, processing, analysing results and preparing relevant reports.
- Monitoring network performance and identifying faults, their cause and resolution.
- Undertaking site surveys and field performance trials and producing the relevant reports.
- Being on-call and responding to help-desk calls.
Critical Pre-requisites:
- Australian Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
- Fluent in English verbal and written communication
- Must be a resident of Metropolitan Sydney, NSW
Work Type: Permanent full-time position (38 hrs/wk)
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:15pm) and on-call after hours.
